Micronutrient Supplementation:
Administration of Vitamin-A.
Vitamin A is administered in 9 doses beginning at 9 months along with measles vaccine wherein the infant is given 1 lakh I.U. thereafter 2 lakh I.U are administered subsequently at 6 months interval to all the children upto the age of 5 years.
Also Education on Supplementary feeding after 6 months is given in different programmes like VHNDs, Community meeting, during ANC & PNC OPD etc.
